HOW WE DO IT: THE PROCESS
Web Design Process

Designing and building a website is a very smooth process if the right pieces to the puzzle are in place.

To get started on a website here’s what we’ll need:

  • Your logo

  • A sitemap that lays out what sections/buttons the site will have

  • Wording for the different section of the site (typically information about your team, it’s history, your stats and descriptions, sponsorship materials and contact information) – you may provide this via MS Word or we can have a copywriter interview you  and write the wording for you.

  • And photos of your team/car/driver

  • Designing and building a website is a very smooth process if the right pieces to the puzzle are in place.

  • Once we have the pieces of the site’s content in place, the process begins!

Concept Development.
We talk to you about styles you like, what sites you’ve seen that appeal to you and what kind of look you’re hoping to present to your sponsors and fans

Concept Presentation.
We present you with a design concept* via email
(.jpg file attachment or a weblink) typically within 5-7 business days from receipt of your deposit

Concept Editing.
We edit the design concept based on your feedback and a conversation that we have about it. Within the scope of a typical web design proposal, we allow for up to three (3) “rounds” of edits on a design concept.

Concept Approval & Site Building.
Once we have the design finalized and you have signed off on it, we begin to build the site based on the sitemap. We complete all pages of content as well as the portfolio or gallery section at this time. This usually takes approximately 5-10 business days.**

Final Client Review.
At this step in the process, we will present you with a link to a working test version of your finished site! You then have the opportunity to make any last minor edits or changes to the wording or photos that have been included.***

Site Launch!
Once we have completed any last edits, we make the site live for the public to view!

*The time and cost involved with presenting more than one concept is not something we account for in typical site proposals but can be discussed on a case-by-case basis if you feel strongly that you will need more than one design from which to choose.

**When we have a design concept that you like, we have you sign-off on that look and feel and we begin building the site itself and each page within the site. Edits made to the look and feel of the site once this phase has begun are not included in a web design proposal. This is why it is critical to arrive at a design concept that you’re 100% in agreement with before the site build begins.

***Once we build the site and load content/wording that you’ve provided (or that one of our  copywriters has written) and created a photo gallery of the images you’d like to show, you are then welcome to make one (1) round of edits to the site’s content/wording. Photo gallery presentations will be discussed at length before they are built as they require detailed attention and time and are not as easily editable once created as the wording or content. Please provide and any all feedback or comments on how you’d like to see the photos presented before we begin to alleviate any delay in the completion of your site.
